Registration


Instructions to register for the platform ConfTool

If you are planning to participate in the next conference of Rural History 2015, please complete the online form available from Conftool RH2015 (CLICK HERE). After completing the form, you will receive a confirmation email. It is important to ensure that the email address provided will be the same for paper submissions as well as conference payments.

Please, in addition to copying your abstract in the online form, upload a Word file (doc or docx extension) of your abstract.

If your submission is accepted, we suggest that you upload the full paper by July 31, 2015. All papers will be available on PDF format at www.ruralhistory2015.org before the conference to allow fruitful discussion.

Registrate for Conference participation

1. To registrate for Conference participation you will use the interface for events administration ConfTool. This option will be active from 28 February 2015. Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.

Note: €20 will be allocated to EURHO for supporting its activities

3. Registration payment is done by credit card. At the time of registration for the conference you have the option to book and pay for meals and excursions. Lunch will be served daily between 13:00 and 14:00 in the abbey of the same Faculty of Arts, the venue of the Conference. Each meal must be booked individually and costs € 15. The excursions will take place simultaneously during the afternoon of Wednesday, September 9 (departure after lunch). Therefore, you can register only to one excursion. The price ranges from € 20 to € 30, covering the visit, guide service, and in some cases, tasting local products. For more information, see the excursions section.

4. On Tuesday, September 8, a dinner reception will be organised for all attendees. Although it is free, you should register in advance.

5. The city of Girona is home to one of the most renowned restaurants in the world, El Celler de Can Roca, which has a venue for banquets and receptions Mas Marroch restaurant. This restaurant has offered the Conference organisers the opportunity to dine there on September 9 for a minimum of 100 guests at a price of € 80 per person. The decision to make this dinner depends on the number of people interested.

6. The registration, the booking of lunches, excursions and/or reception dinner should be done no later than 7 days before the starting day of the event.

7. If you have to cancel the registration, you get 100% back until 30 days before the start of the conference and 50% back if done later. There is no refund if you do not cancel the registration.
